This sickeningly green coffee shop (but the floor is great) was once part of the Alexandria Hotel... seen below in what looks like the early Teens.
The building, which was the greatest in Los Angeles from 1911-22, is still at the corner of 5th and Spring Streets.
But this room, known as the Mission India Grill, is gone.
The photo below is from the hotel's current website, which informs that a $14-million renovation has converted the building to low income housing.
